Life is not happening to you, it is responding to you. The thought that life is happening to you is the Ego’s idea, not what is True in your Heart. Try this exercise: Think of an area in your life where you feel the victim, where you feel that you have been “done wrong”. Write it down or say it out loud. Then take a few deep breaths and quiet your mind. Now ask yourself from your heart “What is another more positive way in which I can look at this situation?”. Listen quietly for the answer. Don’t “think” the answer, wait with a quiet mind for the answer. Write the answer down or say it out loud. This will shift your focus to a new higher, more positive frequency. By letting go of this victim attitude and shifting to a more positive attitude, you make space in your life for more abundance to enter. It’s a form of clutter release. After you make this shift, pay attention to the new people, experiences and things that enter your life. You will be amazed! Try it, it works!
